This self-published short story, my first publication consisting entirely of prose, tell the story of Dr. Raquel Richmond, who, inexplicibly denied what would be her only opportunity to meet her grandparents, and having struggled over the succeeding years to come to terms with this, receives a notice decades later that the grandparents' former home is about to be converted into a history archive, and that a trunk was found that had been bequeathed specifically to her.  Out of curiousity and a desire to seek closure for her missed opportunity, Dr. Richmond makes a trip to the house, and learns more than she had bargained for about her grandparents...and herself.
